Scott, who just returned from a seven-day trip to Israel, called the Chairman of the Board of the FAMU on Thursday and asked him to suspend James Ammons immediately.
Scott said he had no evidence that Ammons did nothing wrong, but he thought the suspension is guaranteed.
“I think in the best interest of the President and the interests of the schools he went to the side,” Scott told reporters as he arrived at the Tallahassee Regional Airport.
